How to Prepare Sea Moss: wash properly to get rid of the natural ocean salt at least 2-3 times, add a squeeze of key lime to neutralize the ocean scent. Soak the sea moss for 1-2 hours do not exceed 2 hours maximum until it reaches maximum hydration. After the sea moss reaches maximum hydration pour off the water that it was soaked in and prepare a kettle of boiling water, pour over the sea moss and allow to cool then blend. After the boiling water has been poured over the sea moss it is normal that it become very soft or gel like, this step help to speed up blending process. Then wash and disinfect the container that you will use to store your sea moss place in the refrigerator for maximum 30 days always use a clean spoon and never double dip. Sea moss can also be stored in the deep freezer for up to 6 months.
